Commitment to blogging.

Me and blogging do not appear to get on very well, we should - a blog being somewhere I can post my inner ramblings and nobody will whinge about it. Well they might but at least it wont be to my face!

I have decided, made a conscious decision to make more of a comittment to blogging - at least once a week I have decided. Many people get 'discovered' via their blogs and I could really do with being the next great discovery I tell you!

There will be another blog from me within the next few days, I am currently writing a review of 'Wicked' which I saw for the second time yesterday so will be posting that - it will also be found on a friend of mines blog 'Theatrical adventures of an onion' where she has kindly allowed me to guest blog!

For now I am off to continue my quest in trying to create a current London cast recording of 'Wicked' from people highly illegal videos on YouTube...

Feelings of sheer elation!

I really must make more time for blogging!

So its been 5 months since I actually wrote a blog, that blog told of some special news that I couln't share explicitly but now I can. I had just written my notice ready to hand in at sports direct! Which I did, went to work at Waterstones for 2 months and since then I have been jobless! So Although I am no longer held to ransom by the devilish ways of Sports Direct I am very very skint and not expecting my next installment of student loan until next month :-(

To be honest it has been very much of a godsend as the feelings of elation I speak of in my title eludes to me completing my 10,000 word dissertation with a week to spare! It ended on 10,930 which sits just under the 10% under or over threshold!

I can't believe I actually did it! More to the point I actually enjoyed writing it! 'An investigation into the representation of women and madness in contemporary literature' I hope all the hard work will be worth it, I have a mark in my head that I would like for it and will be disappointed if it slips below that, but will not know that until July which sucks!!

I have been supported along the way by Emma McKay, who I was initially scared about, BUT she has been so good, such a good supervisor and I take everything back!

So not much else has been going on really, not much else can go on when you are face with the prospect of writing 10,000 words!

The move to Wales is getting ever closer, and its a scary thought, moving all that way is gonna be expensive and stressful....I HATE MOVING!!

I will be sad to leave all my friends behind, have made some great ones over the last three years as well as my boys Peran, Oli & Mike. But the time has come to move on, 10 years is long enough in this godforsaken place! Need to be back with the family and start over!

I promise I will try to blog more over the next months, time should be on my side as the diss is now complete and sat waiting to be handed in!

The end is nigh...

I have finally done it, but can't yet tell you what 'it' is. But I am very happy about it!

In other news, hmmm not really much else going on. Seriously addicted to a silly little facebook game called Cafe World, if you value your social life and personal relationships do not even add it to your page!

I have been lied to tonight and I didn't appreciate it, I never do and I'm sure it happens more than anybody realises.

Oooh just had to hide and mute the TV coz the trailer for The 4th Kind was on again, I accidentally watched it earlier this week and was so scared, it is actually the freakiest and scariest trailer I have ever seen!

I will blog again when I can share my good news, now is simply too soon....

Wispa Gold is back!!

So finally, the wonder that is Wispa Gold is back in the shops. When I say shops I mean one tiny little newsagents (Big shout out to Aleef News in Blackpool). I'm sure the man there thinks I have some strange chocolate fetish having bought six in 3 days - in all fairness though 3 were for my lovely wife! I am now simply praying for my student loan so I can go and buy a box of the wonderful little things!
I'm being totally serious there too.

On another slightly more selfish note, I have just reserved the last remaining copy of Beatles Rock Band at the local Argos store. At this precise moment in time I don't really know if I'm actually going to pick it up but need it to be reserved just in case I can be bothered to go to town. Do I feel bad that I may have denied some other gamer the chance of playing Beatles Rock Band today. No I do not. (insert evil laugh here as appropriate)

Still awaiting news of my bloody student loan which should of gone into my bank on monday - today is now wednesday and there is no sign of a payment gracing my account with its presence! there is light at the end of the tunnel though as i have been given someones name and a number to ring that apparantley gives a glimmer of hope to us poor students!!

Day off today - and 2mora! I may well HAVE to make that trip into town and get that Beatles Rock Band game....Laters Bloggers xx

Stuff, stuff and more bloody stuff!

So, the new football season is upon us. One game of the season played and everyone is either joint top or joint bottom! And according to all journalists and newspapers Liverpool's title chances are over alerady! ONE FRIGGING GAME PEOPLE!! Ok we never lost at all last season but Man Utd did and still won so how can all be lost? We have a decent team with some good additions and if we can keep the Torrard partenership fit all season I think we stand a damn good chance!

I just had a Kit Kat Chunky Caramel, which incidentally I called a Kit Kat Caramel Chinky to my mate just now (Oh how we laughed!) I was quite excited yet ended up underfulfilled and slightly disappointed. I now long the re-arrival of Wispa Gold, by far a superior chocolate bar. Oooh does anybody else remember Cadburys Secret? That was a great bar of chocolate!

Been playing a ridiculousy stupid and hard game on facebook just now, simple concept, devilishly addictive and down right frustrating! All you have to do is type A-Z as fast as possible, you get 5 goes and then an average time which I have got down to 6.65 (or something) yet still have mates who have like 5.6 seconds! Well at least its not bejeweled, I have hung up my mouse indefinitly on that one!!

hmmmm that is all apart from..."What is it doing on my leg?" "Maybe he was masturbating"

Time to begin again...

Ok, I believe I will try again with this blogging malarky! I have decided I will onyl do so when there is something interesting I have to discuss or just when I'm feeling the need to chat rubbish to nobody in particular!

I have nearly killed myself today cleaning the entire upper floor of my house...Just realised as I typed that last sentence that it makes me sound well posh! haha! I mean I cleaned all the rooms upstairs! Got a bit carried away with the bedroom and ended up moving ALL the furniture around, this led to one very confused cat a little later on!

I am very much looking forward to the new football season starting on saturday, cue me yelling at the televison, taking the piss out of whoever we beat and generally becoming a lout for 10 months! Love it!

Hmmm got nothing more profound to say or even discuss, been at home on my own all day with just a hover and some rubber gloves for company so nothing interesting has really happened!
